The Shelter of Hope is a 501(c)3 non-profit, emergency shelter established in 1988 in response to the rising need for assistance among homeless families in Ashland and the surrounding areas. The Shelter of Hope provides unique, temporary and extended, transitional housing services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Boyd and Greenup County, Kentucky, with the mission of leading these families to establish more permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Provisions will be made without discrimination because of race, color, national origin, sex or religion. |
